SUMMARY:Annual Walk & Roll For Research
DESCRIPTION:Lace up your walking shoes or find some wheels for this our annual Walk and Roll event\, which is incorporated into our annual convention.  This fun event is offered online and virtually.  \nThe in-person event asks participants to submit a $60 registration fee and walk a selected area in support of the Civitan International Research Center.  Incentives are offered for fundraising above $60\, and a fellowship gathering at the end of the walk is a fun way to celebrate the group’s accomplishments.  Walk and Roll can also be held “virtually” back in any community that would like to host this effort.  It was created with the idea that Civitan clubs could host the event in their hometowns to help change lives on a larger scope.  \nTo register\, go to www.civitanwalkandroll.com. \nAll participants will receive an official Walk & Roll T-Shirt\, light breakfast and a swag bag! \nThe event will be hosted in August. *Time and date still to be determined*

DESCRIPTION:The 106th Annual Civitan International Convention will take place August 19–22\, 2026\, at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville\, Kentucky. Themed “The Power of Service and the Spirit of Champions\,” the event features leadership workshops\, the Membership Extravaganza\, and CIRC research updates. \nNotably\, voting rules have been updated so every registered member—whether attending in person or virtually—has the right to vote on elections and bylaw amendments. To secure the early bird rate of $219\, register by June 30\, 2026. The deadline for the discounted hotel block is July 19. DESCRIPTION:Civitan International is proud to host the 33rd Annual Civitan Breakthru Golf Benefit. This year’s nine-hole event will include local Special Olympics golfers paired with our Civitans. This benefit brings together some of the world’s most philanthropic citizens in support of people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. \nOur golfers take pride in the numerous breakthroughs that have resulted because of the millions raised over the event’s lifetime.
