As we look toward the months ahead, there is much to be excited about regarding our collective progress and upcoming opportunities for fellowship and impact.
2026 International Convention: Louisville
The 106th Annual Civitan International Convention will take place from August 19–22, 2026, at the historic Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky.
Centered on the theme “The Power of Service and the Spirit of Champions,” the event serves as the primary gathering for members worldwide to collaborate and celebrate the organization’s collective impact.
Attendees will participate in the Opening Ceremonies, the Membership Extravaganza, and specialized seminars and workshops designed to enhance local club leadership and service initiatives.
A significant focus of this year’s convention is the Philanthropy Program and the Civitan International Research Center (CIRC) update, where members will learn about the latest scientific breakthroughs funded by their contributions.
Notably, voting rules have been updated so that every registered member, whether attending in person or virtually, has the right to vote on the President-Elect, bylaw amendments, and elections related to their specific region.
This ensures that every voice in our organization is heard, regardless of their ability to travel to Louisville.
In-person registration provides full access to all business sessions and seminars, while a ticketed Closing Banquet is available as an optional add-on for the final evening’s celebrations.
For those unable to travel, virtual participation packages are available starting at $50, ensuring total inclusivity for our membership.
To secure the early bird registration rate of $219, members must register by June 30, 2026, after which the price increases to $245.
Additionally, the deadline to book rooms within the discounted hotel block at the Galt House is July 19.

- Voting Eligibility: You must be registered by July 19th to be eligible to vote on President-Elect, bylaw amendments and elections related to your region.
