What It Means to Be a Member
Being a member of SCCC is rewarding—but it also comes with purpose and responsibility. Our impact is powered by people who are committed, consistent, and ready to contribute.
Here’s what you can expect:
1. Monthly Membership Meetings (Virtual via Zoom)
Connection and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
Each month, we come together to:
- Discuss community support initiatives
- Stay informed about Civitan International and Georgia Civitan events
- Review fundraising plans and results
- Share updates on how we are actively serving our local communities
These meetings keep us aligned, informed, and inspired to continue the work that matters most.
2. Join a Committee & Get Involved
We believe service isn’t passive—it’s active.
That’s why every member is asked to join at least one committee. Our work requires individuals who are:
- Dedicated
- Committed
- Willing to show up and contribute their time, talent, and support
Committees are where the real work happens—planning, organizing, and executing the programs and initiatives that directly impact the communities we serve.
You are welcome to join more than one committee if you have the availability and energy to actively participate on a consistent basis.

3. Annual Membership Dues – $140
Your membership is an investment in real impact.
Annual dues of $140 go directly toward the programs and services we provide to the special needs community, including:
- Holiday gifts for families
- Back-to-school supplies
- Community support initiatives
- Outreach programs and events
Every dollar helps us serve with greater reach, deeper impact, and stronger support.
